When a Nursing home or an assisted living facility is not the right choice for you, Atlantic Private Care is committed to making sure you get the help you need while staying in your home and maintaining peace of mind. All of our Certified Home Health Aides are supervised every 60 days by a Registered Nurse who develops, monitors and evaluates the Plan of Care that you create together. At Atlantic Private Care you have access to a Registered Nurse 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are only a phone call away.

All of our Certified Home Health Aides are employed directly by Atlantic Private Care. They are not independent contractors or employees of a registry. By using our agency you will never be responsible for payroll taxes or workers compensation insurance liability. This is a real concern when using a registry or independent home health aide. Only Certified Home Health Aides through a licensed home care agency have been trained to provide you with personal care and assistance with daily living. By using our agency you will never be "The Employer" and you will never need to worry. We do all of that for you, while providing you with the most skilled level of personal care and daily living assistance. Activities of daily living include:

•   Meal Preperation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snacks)
•   Household chores
•   Laundry
•   Assist with Food Shopping
•   Light House Keeping
•   Medication Reminders
•   Accompany clients to medical appointments

Upon hire, our Certified Home Health Aides have completed the following list of credentialing:

•     Health Screening for proper immunization
•     Reference Check
•     Written and Demonstrative Skills Assessment
•     Frequent Registered Nurse Supervision
•     National Criminal History Background Checks including Fingerprinting and FBI clearance
•     Mandatory Annual Education
•     Division of Motor Vehicle Clearance
•     Atlantic Health Department of Security and Protection Clearance
